Hadhramout University Awards Committee for Student Creativity for the year 2018 begins judging work for the participation of male and female students


Dr. Salem Aboud Ghanem, Chairman of the HU Awards Committee for Student Creativity, said that the University Awards Committee has started judging the participation of male and female students through specialized scientific committees to select the winners in the first three places in each of the areas of the announced awards, which are: Memorizing the Noble Qur’an and Memorizing the Prophet’s Hadith. short film making, Arabic poetry, short story, photography, chanting, radio recitation, and drawing. Which was announced on the twenty-fifth of last February. The total number of participants in the competition for these awards reached (635) male and female students from all colleges of the university.
In his speech, he stressed that these awards are in response to the creativity of male and female students at the university and to refine their talents in various fields of creativity and excellence.
It is worth noting that these awards were also announced last year, 2017, in various fields, amounting to eleven fields, in which (598) male and female students participated. Among them were 36 male and female students who won the first three places for each field. The number of students participating in the competition for the award amounted to (82) male and female students from various colleges of HU (the coast), then the winners of these qualifiers compete with the qualified male and female students in the preliminary qualifiers conducted in the valley colleges (College of Education, College of Applied Sciences, and Girls College in Seiyun).
As well as the College of Education in Al-Mahra in the final qualifiers taking place in Mukalla to choose the winners of the award in the first three places

These competitions are among the activities included in the university day that will be held this year from April 21-28. The competitions contain nine areas, namely the Noble Qur’an, the Noble Hadith, drawing, chanting, the short story, radio recitation, and the short film. And Arabic poetry, and photography
In the same context, the preliminary qualifiers for the Noble Qur’an and Hadith competitions took place on Monday morning at the Fuwa Colleges Complex, in the presence of the representative of the General Union of HU Students in the University Awards Committee The jury for the Holy Qur’an competition was formed from three certified reciters: Mr. Abdullah Ba-Siddiq, Sheikh / Yasser Bakir, and Sheikh / Majid Bazbidi.; While the judging committee for the Prophetic Hadith Memorization Competition consisted of: Dr. Issa bin Ajra, Dr. Ahmed Saqqaf Al-Aidarous, and Mr. Abdullah Bassediq.
66 male and female students participated in the Holy Quran competition, and 36 male and female students from the various colleges of HU (Coast) participated in the Hadith competition.
