Announced Ceremony of Computerization of Students’ Affairs Project


HU organized the announced ceremony of computerization of Students’ Affairs Project which funded by Al Awn Foundation for Development.

In the ceremony, Prof. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, HU Rector, confirmed that this project is one of the important achievements of the University, through which the paperwork will be transformed into electronic work, which will help to save time and effort.

He pointed out that the University will work to register the project as intellectual property of HU through the official authorities in Hadhramout, and he thanked the work team for their efforts in accomplishing the tasks of the project, the deans of the colleges for their interaction in data raising, as well as Al Awn Foundation for Development for their supporting as they funded this project.

Prof. Salem Mubarak Al-Obthani, Rector’s Deputy for Students’ Affairs said that this program is characterized by the rapid completion of admission procedures and coordination, in addition to monitore of all transactions of students in all colleges of the University through a unified electronic system. He also pointed out that the program will contribute to raising HU ranking locally and internationally.

Dr. Mohamed Afif, Director of the project, said that the project team consists of six employees led by Eng. Munir Bamakhermah. He reviewed the program’s characteristics, its specifications and the stages of admission and coordination for undergraduate and postgraduate students, and pointing out that the project is one of the most important achievements of the University in the software industry.

At the end of the ceremony, HU Rector and his deputies of Students’ Affairs and Academic Affairs, honored Al Awn Foundation for Development, the contributing parties, the project team and some colleges.
