Dr. Adel Mahfouz Basdes, General Director-of the Hadhramaut University Student Training Centre, visited the Office of the Ministry of Public Health and Population – Hadhramaut. He met Dr. Faizah Ahmed Al-Aradi, Deputy General Director for Medical and Therapeutic Affairs of Public Health and Population Ministry , and gave an overview of the Centre’s activity over the past two years in upgrading the abilities and skills of Hadhramaut University students in various scientific and humanitarian Faculties through the implementation of a range of training programmes and courses.
also they discussed ways for joint cooperation between the two sides in the implementation of future programmes and training courses for students of the University’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, including courses in first aid, prescription writing skills, medical reporting and other health training programmes.
In this context, Dr. Faizah Ahmed Al-Aradi, indicated the willingness of the Ministry to cooperate with the HU Centre for Student Training to offer a number of medical training programmes and courses, as part of the strengthening of the partnership between the Ministry’s Office and other government bodies, in particular medical educational institutions, and to work on upgrading the skills of graduate students, providing them with technical expertise to carry out work and provide medical services of high quality, after graduating from medical faculty.
