A ceremony was held at the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center at HU, a ceremony of receiving and handing over ceremonies between the presidency of the General Union of students of the former and new HU, in the presence of the Deputy President for Student Affairs, Prof. Salim Mubarak Al-obatani And the representative of the office of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in the coast of Hadhramaut, and at the ceremony, Dr. Salem urged Students to abide by their duties and rights, calling on the new leadership of the Union to contribute to preserving the university as it provides educational services to students and qualifies student leaders for the community, Pointing out that the Student Affairs Prosecution and the University Presidency welcome the new elected leadership and invite them to continue where their former colleagues ended up to advance and improve the educational and academic process and raise the name of HU internally and externally, stressing that the university presidency is ready to work with the leadership of the General Union of University Students and activate student activities in the university colleges Wishing them success. Ahmed Awad Bagbir, the former president of the General Union of University Students, called on the new leadership of the union to preserve the achievements made by the previous leadership to serve HU students in various colleges, stressing that the previous leadership would be of assistance to them to serve the students at the university, wishing the new leadership success in their upcoming tasks. the new president of the union, Mr.Abdul Rahman Omar Baafi, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the previous leadership for their efforts in leading the union, indicating that the new leadership will continue the journey for the next stage. He also thanked and appreciated the Higher Committee for Student Elections, the Office of Social Affairs and Labor and everyone who contributed to the success of the electoral process for students HU.In turn, Mr.Ahmed Bazros, Director of Monitoring and Inspection at the Office of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in Hadhramaut coast, thanked and appreciated the previous leadership of the Union for their previous efforts in achieving student demands and achievements in order to serve HU students.
At the end of the ceremony, a record of receiving and handing over to the presidency of the General Union of HU students was signed between the previous and new leaderships, as well as honoring the former leadership of the union with commemorative shields for their previous efforts in working in the union.
The ceremony was attended by: Dr. Salem Muhammad bin Salman, the general supervisor of student elections, and the former and new student leaders of the union.
