Prof. Salem Mubarak Al-Obthani, Vice President of the University for Student Affairs, bid farewell to nine students who were selected for the external training program sponsored by the university within the framework of its partnership with the Arab Council for Student Training and Creativity, affiliated with the Association of Arab Universities. The program will be held from July 1 to 23, 2024 at the University of Nizwa in Oman. The program aims to enhance the participants’ capabilities and refine their skills in various aspects of their specializations, which include nursing, English language, administrative information systems, chemical engineering, and business administration.
In the farewell meeting, Dr. Salem Mubarak Al-Obthani urged all students to make the most of this exceptional opportunity, which will have a positive impact on the development of their skills and serve their future academic and professional aspirations.
The Vice President for Student Affairs explained that the university is working in cooperation with many universities to benefit from their experiences in serving students and educational development, which benefits the country as a whole. He stressed that the students are carrying the banner of representing Hadhramout University and Hadhramout Governorate in this training, and he pointed to the need to reflect a positive image. He also urged them to demonstrate the cognitive, professional, and life skills they have acquired in their college programs and link them to practical application in the training program dedicated to them at the University of Nizwa.
This program is one of the training opportunities granted to Hadhramout University by the University of Nizwa in Oman.
The farewell meeting was attended by Dr. Salem Mohammed bin Salman, Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs, Mr. Khalid Jamal Mumen, General Director of Student Training, and Ms. Ahlam Omar bin Humaid, Director of the Communication and Media Department.
