The General Administration of Student Activities

Overview

The General Administration of Student Activities is one of the general administrations at HU related to the Office of Student Affairs, and consists of three administrations:

  1. The Administration of Cultural Activities.
  2. The Administration of Athletic Activities.
  3. The Administration of Scout Activities.

The General Administration of Student Activities based on the Office of Student Affairs implements various student activities and takes the responsibility of preparing students at the educational, social, cultural, athletic, and scout levels, and provides a safe environment for their rest and self-stability that can helps them to adapt to the academic education and reflects positively on their scientific excellence, if Allah wills. In addition to that the General Administration of Student Activities places particular emphasis on establishing Islamic principles and values as well as our governorate and country’s heritage through providing various lectures and seminars.

Student Activities: : It is a group of cultural, athletic, social, and artistic programs that students practice them in their free time outside classrooms.

Mission

To provide a group of cultural, social, artistic, technological, athletic and scout activities in a suitable way for all students.

Vision

To make the Student Activity the first breathing space for students to highlight their talents and creativity and to develop their various skills and abilities.

Objectives

  1. Preparing students well at the intellectual, social, and healthy levels through practicing activities in various fields.
  1. Knowing the characteristics of their Muslim society, and encouraging the role of the university young to achieve the highest values and ideals.
  2. Helping students to adapt to the group in order to build friendly relationships with their partners and creating good teamwork and social relationships at the University.
  3. Satisfying wishes and inclinations of students through education-oriented practice and benefiting from the university facilities.
  4. Spreading cultural and athletic awareness, health education and volunteer works among students.
  5. Building the integrated personality of University students and preparing them to take the responsibility and giving them a part of leadership tasks in order to boost self-confidence in them.
  6. Investing students’ free time in a way that serves the educational process and university personality, away from an intellectual invasion and other extremism.
