Tasks:

1. To encourage women’s capacities for scientific research in general and women’s issues in particular.
2. To supervise researches and studies that enhance the role of women in all areas of life in society and follow up their implementation.
3. To build relations with governmental, non-governmental and international institutions and organizations that are interested in studying women’s issues at all levels.
4. To participate in scientific, local, regional and international activities according to the available possibilities.
5. To coordinate with the Documentation and Information Department to issue the results of the studies and researches carried out by the department after approval of their publication by the Center’s administration.
