College of Nursing held a workshop entitled (The College’s Outcomes with Practical and Clinical Requirements and Strengthening Partnership with Health Institutions 2020-2021) at the hall of Academic Development & Quality Assurance Center.

At the opening session of the workshop, Prof. Mohammed Saeed Khanbesh, HU President , confirmed that the Nursing College was the first in the Republic Since its establishment, and there were graduated more than 600 graduates in the field of nursing . which Hadramaut University had established a special center for the training, qualification and upgrading of students’ abilities and skills.

Prof. Abdulla Saeed Al-Hanshi, Dean of Nursing College , noted that the workshop comes to discuss outputs and strengthen partnerships with health institutions to enable students to benefit from practical application to meet the needs of the Labour market. One of the outputs of the College was to develop nursing leaders serving the community, and he hoped that a number of recommendations, conclusions and decisions would be drawn from the workshop that would contribute to the development and improvement of the College’s educational output.

The workshop was attended by: Dr. Omar Bamqa,  deputy dean of Nursing College , Dr. Haddad Salem Al-Habashi, Head of the Community Health Nursing Department, Dr. Yahya Al-Moallem, Head of the Mother and Infant Nursing Department, Ms. Iman Jaber, Secretary General of Nursing College , Prof. Ahmed Zain Bahmid, Director General of the Media Department at the university, and Dr. Walid Al-Batati, Director-General of the National Center for Central Public Health Laboratories in Hadhramout Coast, and a number of representatives of hospitals and health facilities in the governorate.
