Nursing Faculty at Hadhramout University inaugurated the new academic year 2023-2024 with a welcome ceremony for first-year students on Wednesday, September 17, 2023.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Dr. Abdullah Saeed Al-Hanshi, the dean of the faculty, welcomed the new students, conveying greetings from the university’s leadership, represented by Prof. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, the university president. He congratulated the students on the new academic year and wished for a successful year with hard work and dedication. He encouraged the students to exert their efforts for academic excellence. He also provided an overview of the faculty, its specialties, and its facilities, including the buildings, classrooms, offices, and scientific departments.
Dr. Abdullah Al-Hanshi mentioned that the faculty is taking confident steps toward development and achieving its objectives and the university’s goals. In the academic year 2021-2022, the faculty opened the Master’s program in Critical Care as part of its commitment to continuous improvement.
Dr. Yahya Khamees Al-Muallem, the deputy dean of the faculty, also welcomed the first-year students and congratulated them on the new academic year. He wished them success in their academic life during this year. He briefly explained the faculty’s study system, regulations, and rules related to student rights, exams, behavior, and campus guidelines. He emphasized the importance of preserving public property within the faculty.
A question and answer session was held for the students. The meeting was attended by Ms. Aisha Zinji, the coordinator of the first-year level, and Mr. Ali Bajamza.
