The Transitional Council of the Nursing Faculty, in cooperation with the Nursing dean at Hadhramout University, organized an awareness course entitled “Crisis and Disaster Management.” The course was held this afternoon on Wednesday, in the Family Medicine Center hall.
The course was inaugurated by the head of the Transitional Council of the Nursing Faculty, student Abdullah Ba-Obaid, who thanked the students for their attendance. He emphasized the importance of such courses in enhancing their awareness and building their life skills in various fields. The director of the Student Affairs Department of the Transitional Council at Hadhramout University, Engineer Salem Badas, affirmed the council’s keenness to conduct such courses and its diligent efforts to follow up on everything necessary for the student’s development and qualification.
The course was presented by Prof. Abdullah bin Gouth, who clarified the concepts related to environmental disasters. He also discussed the types of environmental disasters and their damages, as well as the optimal ways to deal with each type according to the need and to mitigate the risks through all possible means.
The course received significant interaction and positive responses from the participating students, who engaged with the presented scientific content.
