The Nursing Faculty at Hadhramout University concluded the course of the surgical suturing for the 4th level, the Dose of Pease Patch, on Wednesday-Thursday in the library of the Nursing Faculty. Under the patronage of Mr. Ali Bajamza, the coordinator of the nursing Faculty in the HU Student Training Center.
Mr. Hasan Omer Al-Muhammadi, Head of the Minor Operation Department at the Authority of Ibn Sina Hospital in Mukalla, presented the course. On the first day of the course, a detailed explanation was given about the types of surgical sutures and their uses. Additionally, the tools, their names, and their uses were discussed, along with the technique of suturing, including practical application. He also introduced the students to the types of anesthesia and its side effects, supported by explanations with examples.
In conclusion, He expressed his appreciation to the students and praised their excellence.
