The Nursing Faculty represented by Prof. Dr. Abdullah Saeed Al-Hanashi, Dean of the Faculty, and several heads of scientific departments and some staff members participated in the Second International Conference on Patient Safety between Reality and Hope organized by the Faculty of Medicine of the Arab University, held from 23rd to 25th December 2023.

1200 participants participated in the conference from specialist doctors, consultants, and expert academics from Hadhramout, Aden, Al-Mahra, Shabwa, Saudi Arabia, America, and other European countries, 400 participants in attendance and 800 participants in Zoom to upgrade the health service. This participation was effective by  selecting the Faculty as a member of the preparatory committee.

The Chairman of the Conference Honored the Dean of the Faculty in attendance Minister of Health and Population and Secretary-General of the Local Council.
