Nursing Students Conduct a Field Visit to Al‑Nuha Hospital for Psychiatry and Addiction

Students of the 18th cohort – fourth level from the Faculty of Nursing, conducted a field visit to Al‑Nuha Hospital for Psychiatry and Addiction in the city of Al‑Ghurfah in Tarim, on Saturday, 31 January 2026, as part of efforts to strengthen practical training and link theoretical knowledge with field application.

This activity was carried out under the generous support of Dr. Talal Salmeen Bin Mansour, in partnership with the Deanship of the Faculty of Nursing and the Charitable Fund for Outstanding Students, representing a fruitful collaboration that reflects a shared commitment to supporting the educational process and developing students’ skills.

During the visit, students undertook a comprehensive tour of the hospital’s departments, where they were introduced to the nature of services provided and operational procedures within psychiatric and therapeutic units. This contributed to enhancing their practical understanding of mental health and addiction care, as well as the essential role of nursing in this vital field.

On this occasion, the students of the Faculty of Nursing expressed their sincere appreciation to Dr. Talal Salmeen Bin Mansour for his generous contribution to the success of this visit. They also extended their gratitude to the Faculty Deanship for their continued support and facilitation, as well as to the Charitable Fund for Outstanding Students for its active role in supporting students and encouraging academic excellence. They further expressed their appreciation to the administration and staff of Al‑Nuha Hospital for Psychiatry and Addiction for their warm reception, cooperation, and the facilities provided to ensure the success of the visit.
