Overview Of Islamic Studies Department
Islamic Studies Program is one of the main and scientific programs in the Open Education Faculty. It seeks through its programs to provide outcomes more relevant to the labor market, prepare qualified and experienced graduates in teaching the Islamic sciences, as well as to provide students with the necessary and main Islamic sciences in order to serve the community.

To be a leading department in teaching Islamic studies and the distinguished scientific research according to the quality standards
Mission
Consolidating the Islamic identity, spreading the moderation approach, and preparing graduates capable of serving society, the labor market, and new developments at the level of Yemen.
Objectives
- Preparing qualified and experienced graduates to teach Islamic studies and providing the student with the necessary Islamic and Sharia sciences that qualify him to do so.
- Distinguishing between truth and falsehood in the field of belief and demonstrating it through the Quran verses and the honorable hadiths of the Prophet on a method based on moderation.
- Highlighting the keys of dealing with books of interpretation and hadiths documentation, ideology, religions, contemporary creeds, jurisprudence and its principles, acclamation, ethics, and the authentic Islamic thought derived from divine revelation.
- Motivating students’ enthusiasm by providing them with courses and working with them to be role models in the areas of religious, legal and social life.
Faculty’s Programs
The program duration is two academic years, two semesters for each academic year. Students grant diploma degree of Accounting after they finished all their graduation requirements and they are granted a mark record and graduation certificate.
Teaching Staff: the teaching and assistant teaching staff in the Accounting departments in the University and all the specialists of accounting specialization.
Objectives :
To qualify students to work in the fields of accounting.
To prepare and qualify students in order to take their responsibility for the workloads in the fields of accounting in the public and private sectors.
To provide education and training opportunities for high school students (or similar commercial institutes).
To prepare qualified national graduates in the field of accounting.
To contribute to career and personal development through meeting the wishes of workers in this field in the public and private sectors.
