Prof. Mohammed Saeed Khanbash, HU President attended the ceremony of signing an agreement to open a coordination office for Open Education College in Raidah Al–Jawheen in Ghil bin Yameen District, to facilitate the admission and registration procedures and provide the girls with the opportunity to continue their university education. He praised the Deanship of the Open Education College for their efforts in the services they provide to students that keep abreast with the requirements and needs of society to achieve the vision and mission of the university.
From his part, Dr. Mohammed Salem bin Jamaan, Dean of the Open Education College, indicated that this step provide an opportunity for students who were unable to enroll in university education, the general admission system, as well as to meet the needs of the labor market to reach remote areas to support girls ’education in various regions and districts of Hadhramout. Dr. Mohammed Ali Al-Jouhi, Head of the Girl Support Project, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Hadhramout University Presidency and the Deanship of Open Education College for their approval to open a coordination office in the Raidah Al-Jawheen in Ghil Bin Yameen district in order to provide an opportunity for those who could not continue their university studies.
At the end of the meeting, this agreement was signed by Dr. Mohammed Salem bin Jamaan, Dean of Open Education College, and Dr. Mohammed Ali Al-Jouhi, Head of the Girl Support Project in Raidah Al-Jawheen, in Gail bin Yameen.
The signing ceremony was attended by: Dr. Hani Belafer, Deputy Dean of Open Education College and Mr. Ali Bakran Baziyad, Director of the Admission and Registration Department at Open Education College, Mr. Issam Daikik, General Secretary of the Al Mustaqbal Colleges Complex and a number of scientific departments heads at the college, and Dr. / Aboud Al-Abl, Governor Advisor of Hadramout Governorate, Executive Director of Youth Support Fund.
