Assistant Undersecretary of Hadhramout Governorate for Al- Wadi and Sahara Affairs Abdulhadi Al-Tamimi inspected today the progress of the vocational diploma program in the media, which is funded by Al-Awn Foundation for Development, and implemented by the College of Open Education at HU under the supervision of the National Committee for Women in Hadhramout Governorate. He stressed that the local authority gives media sector a special attention, as it is a main factor for achieving development in society.
Dr. Abdullah Saleh Baabeer, HU Rector’s deputy said that the program, which runs from 14 July to 25 September this year, aims to train and qualify 40 media professionals in relevant public and private facilities and offices and provide them with skills and knowledge required for media and journalism in different various areas.
