Women’s College in Mukalla celebrated the International Women’s Day with a special event entitled “Sweet Morning” on Wednesday 7 March 2018. In a joyful atmosphere, with the flavor of Arabic coffee and the magic of words, Women’s College with the support of Al-Amal Women’s Sociocultural Foundation, celebrated the International Women’s Day 2018.
The Department of Activities at the College held a special competition entitled Sweet Morning, which aimed to highlight the talents of students in coordinating and managing the distinctive reading atmosphere, and presenting the most signified and attractive comment on a book that was read by the participants.
The number of participating tables reached 12 tables from all specializations and the Student Union in the college. The event was inaugurated by the deanship represented by Prof. Najat Bousaba’a and Deputy Dean Dr. Fathia Bahishwan and heads of the scientific departments.
Everyone expressed his admiration for the creativity of the students, and the most beautiful table and comment were voted on the college’s Facebook page after the posts were published, and the voting continued for three days.
