Calculation of the Failure Percentage and the Registration Renewal of Year or Level:

The Failure Percentage is determined as the follows:

Second Level and above:

1.      If the student's failure percentage is more than (50%) from the total number of credit hours except the university requirements, the student must renew the level in the courses in which he/she failed.

2.      If the failure percentage is less than (50%) of the total number of credit hours, the student can take the second sitting exams and if he / she passes all courses in which he/she failed, she / he moves to the higher level. While if he/she fails in any course, he/she must renew the year in the courses in which he/she failed.

3.     The student who stays at the same level for two consecutive years is expelled based on the decision of the College Council.

Example:

If the level hours are (30 hours), the failure in (15) hours let the student takes the second sitting exams, while if the failure percentage are (16) hours or above the student must renew the year.

First Level:

1.      If the student's failure percentage is more than (75%) form the total number of the compulsory courses hours (except the university requirements) the student is expelled in the first level.

2.      If the student's failure percentage is less than (75%) of the total number of the compulsory courses hours, the student can take the second sitting exams and if he/she fails after the second sitting exams in any course, he/she is expelled based on the decision of the College Council.              

The compulsory hours in the first level of  Medicine specialization are (30) hours, while the percentage of (75%) about (22.5) hours.
