The Viva- -Voce examination on the M.A. thesis of the researcher Waleed Khaled Bakhdhr was held in the Faculty of Environmental Sciences and Marine Biology on Thursday 11 January 2024. The thesis is entitled:( Environmental and Health Risk Assessment of Heavy Metals in Agricultural Soil in Eastern Deiss Directorate of Hadhramout Governorate.
The examination committee consisted of:
Prof. Salem Rabea Bazar, Supervisor and Chairman (HU).
Prof. Shaief Mohammed Qasem, External Examiner (Aden University).
Dr. Nada Sheikh Mull Al-Duwila, Internal Examiner (HU).
At the beginning of the Examination, the researcher presented a summary about his thesis on the health risks of heavy metals resulting from the use of wastewater in irrigation of agricultural crops and depositing them in agricultural soils in the Eastern Dees, where the study showed the effects resulting as well as the analysis and refinement of the results as targets included in the thesis.
The thesis was approved after being enriched by scientific examinations and remarks from the examination committee, and the researcher was awarded a master’s degree.
The Examination was attended by the Dean of the faculty, Khaled Awadh Al-rabaki, Deputy Dean for Academy Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Eidah Bin Ali Al-Haj, Deputy Dean for student Affairs, Dr. Ali Muhammed Baabad, and Head of the Marine Biology and Sciences Department, Dr. Jaafer Omer Bin Omer Baamer, and several Staff Members, interested students, the researcher’s family, and friends.
