Computer Lab (CL)
The computer lab was established in 2006 at Women’s faculty with (20) computers and servers, which were connected to a network for the purpose of exchanging files and making them easy to print. During the year 2014, the lab was supplied with (6) desktop computers. The lab is used through the “Introduction to Computer” course, which is scheduled for all scientific departments in the faculty/second level, at a rate of two hours per major per week during the first semester of the university year, as well as the “Computer Applications” course scheduled for the Kindergarten Department/second level during the second semester at a rate of three hours per week.
The benefit of this lab lies in introducing the new generations to computer science and motivating them to engage in the world of technology, as it is one of the most important foundations on which the developed world is based on. It should be noted that during the college exhibition, which was held on February 18, 2017, the computer lab was distinguished by the students’ work through brochures and booklets and the process of recycling tools and devices and making use of them.
