Prof. Salem Mubarak Al-Obathani, Vice President of Hadhramout University for Student Affairs, and Dr. Fathia Mohammed Bahishwan, Dean of Women’s College, inaugurated an event (Hadramout, the Land of Peace) for the students in Fuwah Colleges Complex, which was organized by the College Deanship in cooperation with the Community Youth Club of Al-Amal Foundation for Women and the Student Council at the Women ’College. The event included an art exhibition, a section for selling historical scientific books, a section on Hadhramout history, entertainment games, a documentary films section, and a literary discussion session with the participation of more than 500 students. The College includes 5 scientific departments (English Language – Islamic Studies – Social Work – Kindergarten – Fine Arts ).
Prof. Salem Mubarak Al-Obathani praised the creativity and talents of the female students, noting that Women’s College is one of the distinguished colleges that highlight the creativity and abilities of female students and contribute to community service, expressing his thanks and appreciation to the Deanship of Women’s College for organizing such events and student activities in the college.
Accompanying them during the opening ceremony was: Dr. Najla Ateeq Bajbair, Deputy Dean of Women’s College, a number of academic departments heads and the staff members, Mr. Zaki Bagwigo, General Director of Student Activities Department, and Ms. Maryam Bamqna, responsible of women’s activities in the Student Affairs at Hadhramout University, and representatives of Al-Amal Women’s Foundation.
