The Women’s Centre for Studies & Research and Dar Maaref for Research and Statistics Organizes A Joint Meeting of Women Researchers at Women Faculty

The Women’s Centre for Studies and Research and Dar Maaref for Research and Statistics organized the Joint Meeting of Women Researchers on Women’s Day on 8TH March , under the generous patronage of Prof. Mohammed Saeed Khanbesh.
Prof. Hadi Salem Al Sabban, acting Vice-President of Hadhramout University for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, noted that HU has many events in the coming days as part of Scientific Research Week , including a joint international symposium for the first time. He also stressed that women are the basis of society, and they must be taken care of and strengthened in scientific research, which would contribute to addressing their issues.
On her part, Dr. Ahlam Saleh Ben Brick, Director of the Women’s Centre for Studies and Research at Hadhramaut University, noted that the theme of this International Day was to break prejudice, as well as to highlight the role played by women in various fields.
The meeting also discussed a number of working papers on “Causes of Female Dropout from Education from the Point of View of Administrators, Teachers and Parents” Gender Based Violence in Hadhramaut Governorate” “Domestic Violence against Women” “Rights of Yemeni Women in the Light of Legal Legislation. ”
The event was attended by: Prof. Najat Ahmed Bu Sabaa, Dean of the Faculty of Women, Dr. Mohammed Muqibel, Director of the Center for Humanities and Social Studies, Dr. Khaled Awad Al-Rabbaki, Derictor of Center for Academic Development and Quality Assurance, a number of female staff members of the faculty and students of the Women’s Faculty, and a representative of Dar Al Maaref of research and statistics.
