In a joyful atmosphere enriched by the aroma of traditional Arabic coffee and the elegance of expressive words, the College of Women in Mukalla supported by the Al-Amal Women’s Cultural and Social Foundation celebrated International Women’s Day 2018.
The faculty’s Activities Department organized a distinctive morning event and competition titled “Your Morning Is Sweet”, aimed at showcasing students’ talents in designing creatively arranged reading spaces and presenting insightful commentaries on books they had read and displayed at their tables. Twelve tables participated in the event, representing various academic departments and the Student Union.
The event was inaugurated by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Najat Ahmed Bosab’a, alongside the Vice Dean, Dr. Fathiya Mohammed Bahashwan, in the presence of the College Director and heads of academic departments.
Attendees expressed great admiration for the students’ creativity and artistic presentation. Voting for the best-decorated table and the best book commentary was conducted through the faculty’s official Facebook page after the entries were published online, with voting continuing for three days.
