The Faculty of Computers and Information Technology at Hadramout University organized a scientific symposium entitled (Modern Technologies in Wired and Wireless Networks) in cooperation with D-LINK Company through Space Net Company and in coordination with One Systems Company, as part of the faculty’s activities to expand students’ perceptions in the field of information technology.

Where wireless communication systems are witnessing a major scientific revolution that led to the emergence of the sixth generation technology, which helps to build a cognitive nervous system that integrates artificial intelligence and wireless perception.

The sixth generation technology is smart applications integrated and broadcast throughout the network, which are smart, managed and controlled applications, capable of transmitting, storing and analyzing large-scale data while providing personal access to it at any time and place.

From this point of view and in line with these technological developments and the work to develop the scientific capabilities of all its students and provide them with everything new in line with the requirements of the labor market, a symposium was organized that targeted students of the third and fourth levels in the scientific departments of the faculty.

The seminar presented by D-Link focused on two topics:

The first is an introduction that included introducing D-Link, its fields of competence, its products, the technologies it offers and its future prospects in the field of electronic communications and information in a lecture given by Eng. Marwan Al-Badani, Marketing Director of D-Link in Yemen.

The second topic is about artificial intelligence in modern technologies in a lecture given by the technical support officer at D-Link, Eng. Akram Al-Sabri, where he indicated that artificial intelligence has become the most prominent talk in the world of communications and information under the exceptional circumstances that the world is going through.

In the symposium, a lot of prizes were drawn among the attendees for modern Routers and Access Point devices through a public lottery, amid the interaction of the attending students.
