On Monday, 6/12/2021, Hadramot University , represented by Dr. Salem Ahmed Bin Nashi, University of Hadramaut Open Education Centre Branch, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Mohammed Saeed Zabnot, Director-General, Hadramot University Centre for Open and Skilled Education, General Director of shahn District, and Sheikh Abdulrrahman , Director of Political Security of shahn District, opened the new branch of the center , there were 86 students registered from two districts (shahn & Wahat ) in specialties of (Business management, accounting, English, Arabic, Quran science, Islamic Studies -social studies).
This inauguration took place in the government complex of Shahn Directorate, and the opening program included the following:
- Signing of the agreement between Hadhramout University , represented by the HU General Director of the Centre for Open Education and the local authority of the governorate, represented by the General Director of shahn District.
- Welcome to students enrolled in the Centre, which included the following paragraphs:
– The meeting was opened with verses from the Holy Koran, by Prof. Saeed Ben Masood.
– Professor Ya’qoub Al-Kahlani, welcomed all the attendees and gave a brief overview of the Centre.
– Sheikh Mohammed bin Mohamed, gave a Welcome speach as well as thanks and appreciation to HU Presidency for their response and cooperation in opening the branch of the Centre in Shahan District;
– a Welcoming word to students enrolled in the Centre’s branch, presented by Dr. Salem Ahmed Ben Nashi, also
– Dr. Abdel-Azad Awab Al-Ghorabi, Deputy Director-General of the Hadramaut University Centre for Open Education, gave students information on the enrolment and registration process, the restrictions that students must adhere to during examinations, and how to communicate with them in facilitating and communicating information to all students.
– Distribution of the university manual to all attending students .
- A field visit to the Omar Ibn Al-Khattab School by the management of the Hadhramout University Center for Open Education with the local authority in the district represented by Sheikh Mohammed bin Mohammed, the director general of the district.
- The General Director of HU Center for Open Education was accompanied by:
– His deputy, Dr. Abdel Aziz Awad Al-Ghurabi.
– Prof. Mohammed bin Dbaye, Director for Student Affairs Unit at Hadhramout University – Registrar of the Center.
– Mr. Salem bin Nashi, Director of Administrative Affairs and Entitlement.
– Mr. Yaqoub Al-Kahlani, Head of Monitoring Department.
