Prof. Mohammed Saeed Khanbesh, HU president, met with Dr. Fahd Kvain, Minister of Fisheries, To find ways of joint cooperation between the Ministry, the University and the Environmental Sciences and Marine Life College, as well as contributing to addressing some of the environmental and fisheries problems in Hadhramaut by making use of its cadres and college in for research and scientific studies to serve the community. The Minister of Fisheries reviewed the damage and problems facing the environment causing pollution in the waters of the sea.
In turn, HU University expressed their willingness to cooperate and partner with the Ministry of Fisheries in various fields and expressed thanks and appreciation for the visit of His Excellency the Minister of Fish Wealth to HU.
Then, the Minister of Fisheries, accompanied by Dr. Salem Rabia’ Bazaar, Dean of the Environmental Sciences and Marine Life college, visited the College with a mandate to identify laboratories of the examination and utilization of fish and water samples for the conservation of the fish and livestock in Hadhramaut.
