Prof. Muhammad Saeed Khanbash; HU president visited the university of Sadat City in Egypt on Sunday, 13/2/2022. During the visit he met with Prof. Ahmed Muhammad Bayomi, president of the Sadat City university and a number of university leaders. They discussed about the joint cooperation and the exchange of experiences between the two universities in the academic aspect as well as the quality assurance and continuous development, joint scientific conferences, development of academic programs & technologies and the implementation of joint programs in particular, at the postgraduate level. In addition to the supervision, arbitration and joint scientific dissemination of the researches of the two universities, as well as exchange of student visits and training, as well as qualifying and training some administrative, financial and technical staff of the University at the centers and units of the University of the Sadat City. On his part, Prof. Ahmed Muhammad Bayomi expressed his happiness on the HU delegation visit to the university of Sadat City, praising the relationships and the cooperation between the two universities. He pointed out the university readiness in providing services to HU according to the signed joint cooperation agreement between them.
From his side, Prof. Muhammad Saeed Khanbash; HU President with his accompanying delegation expressed their happiness in visiting Sadat City University and their good reception and hospitality, in addition to the great outcomes, which were reflected in the cooperation agreement that was signed by the presidents of the two universities at the end of the meeting.
After signing the agreement, HU President visited some of the university’s facilities and faculties , which include:
- Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Research Institute, specialized in postgraduate programs diploma, master’s, doctorate, and includes the following departments, in its laboratories: (molecular biology, microbial biotechnology, plant biotechnology, animal biotechnology, industrial biotechnology, and environmental biotechnology, Molecular and therapeutic diagnostics, bioinformatics)
- Faculty of Commerce
- Scholarships Department
- The new place of Sadat City University, in which construction works are taking place.
HU President was accompanied on this visit by: Prof. Abdullah Saleh Babair; Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Salem Mubarak Al-Obthany; Vice President for Student Affairs, Prof. Abdullah Alawi Aideed; General Secretary of the University, and Dr. Lutfi Saeed bin Dahman ; General Director of the International Cooperation at the University, and Prof. Hussein Abdullah Baslaib; General Director of the HU President Office. While the meetings were attended by the President of Sadat City University: Prof. Sharif Muhammad Ali; Vice President for Education and Students, Dr. Emad Zakaria; General Secretary of the University, and Dr. Majeda Muhammad Refaat Abul-Safa, Director of the Quality Assurance and Continuous Development Center, Acting Dean faculty of Computing and Artificial Intelligence.
Prof. Abdel Hamid Ahmed Shaheen; Dean of the faculty of Commerce, Prof. Ahmed Abbas Noir; Dean of the Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Research Institute, and Dr. Walaa Al-Abed; Director of Sch. Dep. at the university also participated in this visit.
