Prof. Abdullah Saleh Babair, HU deputy president of Academic affairs met Prof. Tareq Salem Al Akbari and discussed the cooperation regarding to linking public education with university education, how to develop and improve educational outcomes, exchange experiences and get benefit from Master's and PhD's graduates to serve university education. In addition to how to assimilate high school outputs and enroll them in university education in light of the conditions that the country is going through with the spread of the Corona pandemic and prepare for the implementation of a set of joint cooperation between the two sides during the coming period.
HU deputy President of Academic Affairs reviewed the university educational programs regarding to the education sector and how to link the outputs of the Education colleges with educational welfare work and the absorption of graduates to cover the schools needs in the governorate, and reviewing the scientific specializations in the university colleges in the cities of Mukalla, Al-Mahrah and Socotra.
His Excellency the Minister of Education said that "The Ministry will seek, through its relationship with international organizations supporting the education sector in Yemen, to find programs and projects that contribute to improving the outputs of public and university education during the next phase" .
The meeting was attended by: Prof. Salem Mubarak Al-Obathani, deputy president of Student Affairs, Prof. Abdullah Alawi Aideed, General Secretary of the University, Prof. Fathia Mohammed Bahshwan, Dean of Women's College, Dr. Saeed Salmin Belafer, Dean of Education College in Mukalla, Dr. Saleh Awad Aram, Technical Advisor to the Minister of Education And education and Prof. Hussein Abdullah Basleib, Director General of HU President's Office.
