HU Lunches 6 International Conference Through videoconference

Prof. Hadi Salim Al-Sabban, acting Vice-president of Hadhramaut University for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, said that the University, as it takes up this unique experience at the level of national universities, is governmental and civil to take a significant and advanced step in linking the University with relations and partnerships with Arab, regional and international universities and in various fields of scientific research.

In a special statement, he added: These conferences, which will be launched on Sunday, July 4, 2021, from the auditorium of Adeeb Ali Ahmed Bakhtiyar via videoconference, will add a major feature to the scientific achievements of HU.

The International Conference on Advanced Technology and Engineering 2021(ICATE), organized by Hadramaut University and the Research Group of Yemeni Scientists, is technically sponsored by the Branch of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers of Yemen (IEEE) and in collaboration with eight international universities from the United Kingdom, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Maghreb, Tunisia and Libya.

He was very pleased with the active local and international participation in this conference, in which researchers from 35 countries and researchers from local Yemeni universities participated.

Dr. Faisal Saeed Al-Samt,  The Chairman of the Yemeni Scientists Group,  thanked the leadership of HU, represented by Prof. Mohammad Saeed Khanbesh, who had mocked all the University's potential for the success of the Conference and demonstrated it clearly and truly.  Also, he  indicated  that 195 papers had been delivered to (ICOTEN 2021) From local and international researchers from different States (in alphabetical order )Algeria, Australia, Bahrain, China, India, Germany, Iraq, Jordan, Morocco, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, United Kingdom, United States of America, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Pakistan, Russia, Romania, Tunisia, Sultanate of Oman, Kazakhstan, Libya, Malaysia, Nigeria and Yemen. 142 papers passed the arbitration phase. They have been added to the conference book and will be included in the conference programmes.

According to Dr. Salim Faraj Bamsa'ud, General Directorof Scientific Research of the University, said that, "HU are well prepared to hold such virtual conferences and so on. With the efforts of the Investment Management and Enterprise and Service Management Team, as well as the Information Technology Centre Team, five special rooms have been set up for these events in a record period. These halls were provided with state-of-the-art electronic equipment, as well as web-based services to achieve the success of the Conference's events" .

Also, he thanked the HU leadership and all members for achieving the University's objectives. As well as to the Public Foundation for Communications on the coast of Hadhramaut for facilitating the improvements of the communications and Internet service in HU President Office.

He concluded by saying: HU invites all Yemeni researchers in the governorate and abroad to benefit from these events by attending the conference rooms or by entering the conference link to be published.
