A joint memorandum of understanding was signed at HU president's office, as well as an agreement to grant a number of study seats between Hadhramout University and the Nahd Developmental Foundation. It was signed by Prof. Mohammed Saeed Khanbash; HU president and Eng. Mohammed Mansour bin Thabet; Executive Director of Nahd Developmental Foundation in Mukalla in the presence of Prof. Abdullah Saleh Babair; Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Prof. Salem Mubarak Al-Obthani; Vice President for Student Affairs.
The memorandum aims to strengthen the university’s partnership with institutions and civil society organizations to improve and develop the educational and academic process at Hadhramout University, as well as contribute to serving the educational and development fields. In addition to investing the human potential, capabilities and expertise of both parties, providing advisory, technical and administrative services, and preparing plans, studies, programs and joint projects between the two sides and other areas of mutual cooperation that contributes to community service.
The agreement included granting a number of study seats to the Nahd Developmental Foundation according to the conditions of coordination and admission of Hadhramout University with the special expense system, as well as adherence to the university's regulations, the Student Affairs deanship bylaw and other admission requirements.
The signing was attended by Mr. Ibrahim bin Thabet; Director of Programs and Projects at Nahd Developmental Foundation in Mukalla.
