Prof. Mohammed Saeed Khanbash; HU President chaired a meeting to put the final touches and arrangements for the implementation of the 7th International Conference on Software Engineering and Computer Systems (ICSECS), and the 4th International Conference for Computer Science and Information Management, which will launch next Tuesday in his office with the presence of Prof. Abdullah Saleh Babair; Vice president for Academic Affairs, Dr. Salem Bamasoud; Director of Scientific Research, Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Bamatraf; Dean of the Computing and Information Technology College, Dr. Ezzat Al Saadi; Director of the Information Technology Center, and Prof. Ahmed Zain Bahmaid, Director-General of the General Department of Media at the university. The meeting discussed the final arrangements for the launch of the conference.
“ After signing the cooperation agreement between Hadhramout University and the Universiti Malaysia Pahang, and in implementation of the terms of this agreement, the work of the Seventh International Conference on Software Engineering and Computer Systems (ICSECS), and the Fourth International Conference on Computer Science and Information Management will be launched on Tuesday, August 24, until the 26th , organized by the UMP together with HU, Jazan University in Saudi Arabia, Muscat College in the Sultanate of Oman, Uin Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta in Indonesia, Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology in India, Telecom University in Indonesia, in addition to United International University, Bangladesh and University of Santo Tomas, Philippines” HU president said.
He added, "These two conferences received great interaction from researchers, as 274 scientific papers were submitted to the conference, 126 scientific papers were accepted".
“Ten lectures will be given to ten international speakers, and the Hadhramout University is honored to participate in a lecture by Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Bamatraf, Dean of the Computing and Information Technology College, entitled (Implementing institutional planning systems in the public sector – challenges and opportunities – Hadhramout digital project as a case study).” HU President said.
He pointed out that the university held during this year eight international conferences with the participation of Perlis University and the group of Yemeni scholars, and is in the process of preparing for the second scientific research week, which will be organized during the first quarter of 2022. He expressed his high appreciation to the Vice President of Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Prof. Wan Azhar Wan Yusuf, Dr. Jamal Salem, the chairman of the conference, and all members of the committees at Hadhramout University.
He also thanked the Information Technology Center and the General Administration of Investment, the General Administration of Establishments and the General Administration of Media at the university.
