The Inauguration of Drawings and Photographs Exhibition and Two Training Courses at Women\’s Faculty

Prof. Abdullah Saleh Babair;  Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Salem Mubarak Al-Obathani; Vice President for Student Affairs, and Prof.  Najat Ahmed Busaba; Dean of Women’s Faculty in  Fuwa Colleges Complex at Hadhramout University in Mukalla. The exhibition of drawings and photographs of the students was inaugurated under the slogan “Together for Her”, which was organized by the Women’s Social and Cultural Hope Foundation in cooperation with the Women’s faculty at Hadhramout University.

During the inauguration, the vice president of the university and the dean of Women’s Faculty visited the sections of the exhibition, and during that they got acquainted with the drawings and pictures that express violence against women in our society, listening to students explaining the ideas contained in these beautiful drawings and pictures, and how to deal with women, especially the works of

Violence. He praised all the talents and creativity of the students, expressing their thanks and appreciation to the Deanship of the Women’s Faculty and the parties that support these activities and events that contribute to refining the skills of the students. In the same context, Women’s Faculty at Hadhramout University organized two training courses for female students, entitled, “Family Counseling,” presented by the Egyptian expert in the field of family counseling, Dr. Motaz Abdul Motamed Muhammad Ali. He explained the concept of Family, family cohesion, consulting theories of family problems, family therapy strategies and remedies.

As for the second course entitled, “The Basics of Sewing”, it introduced the students to how to maintain the machine, get acquainted with its parts , know the sewing and measuring tools, and get acquainted with the methods of tailoring the prayer shirt, sewing robes, trousers, pajamas, and other types of clothes.

The event was attended by Prof. Salem Muhammad bin Salman; Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs, Deputy Dean of Women’s Faculty, and a number of staff members, employees, and students of faculty at Hadhramout University.
