A scientific symposium entitled ” Preparation of Hadhramout University to be as a productive university”, presented by Dr. Warda Al-Mohammadi, as part of the third Quality Week of the University, for its fourth consecutive day, and within the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the  Hadhramout University. It was held under the slogan ”Thirty Years of Giving for Outstanding Knowledge Building and New Outcomes”. It was attended by Prof. Muhammad Saeed Khanbash; HU President, Prof. Abdullah Saleh Babair; Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Prof. Abdullah Eidha Baheshwan; Director of the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center.

Dr. Warda Al-Mohammadi reviewed a number of points, including: the concept of a productive university, the comparison between a traditional and a productive university, the justification for shifting  towards a productive university philosophy, the conditions, disciplines and requirements for the transition towards a productive university, the general objectives of the productive university, the mechanisms for the transition towards a productive university, and the presentation of some successful experiences of global universities that have been transformed from traditional to productive universities.

The symposium included a number of discussions and queries raised by attendees, to which the specialists responded.
