Under the supervision of Prof. Muhammad Saeed Khanbash; President of Hadhramout University, a meeting was held on Saturday, May 6th, 2023 for the students with the specialists from Airlangga University, which is one of the top universities in the World University Rankings among 400 universities around the world and it has many Medical, engineering, art and scientific majors
Prof. Abdullah Saleh Babair; Vice President for Academic Affairs expressed his appreciation for this invitation from Airlangga University for Hadhramout University Students to attend this Introductory meeting via Zoom. The students will have the opportunity to enroll in the available programs at Airlangga University and study for one semester to get the study grant. He also indicated in his speech to the Academic partnership between the two universities which will be held soon due to the signing of a cooperation agreement between them. Furthermore, he expressed his thanks to the respective parties for their good organization of this meeting.
From their parts, Mr. Rizki Hanan and Mr. Omer Jamal; Representatives from Airlangga University presented a detailed description of East Asian life and the different features that the university will provide to the students in their various majors and levels as well as the postgraduate students within the partnership between the two universities. More than a hundred male and female students participated in this meeting via Zoom or by attending Ali Bakatheer Hall at University Presidency. At the end of the meeting, many inquiries by the students were answered, and the communication in this regard will continue in future meetings.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Hadi Salem Al-Sabban; Acting Vice President for Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Salem Muhammad Bin Salman; Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Azzat Al-Sadi; Director of IT Center and Mr. Ahmed Zain Bahmaid; General Director of Media. In addition to Dr. Samir Al-Buri; a Member of the International Cooperation Committee and some staff members of the university.
