Hadhramout University held an honoring ceremony for the 12th university student week activities. It was held at Ali Bakatheer Hall under the slogan of” 30th Years of Innovation and Excellence in Student Activities”.
Prof. Muhammad Saeed Khanbash; President of Hadhramout University pointed out that these activities of the 12th university student week coincides with the university 30th anniversary. He also indicated that the student week included many activities, events and student competitions especially the 8th scientific conference of the university student which distinguishes Hadhramout University from other universities.
Furthermore, he congratulated the winners of the student innovation, scientific conference and various competitions and confirmed that the university is proud of its students, who are raising the reputation of Hadhramout University locally and internationally. He pointed out that the university’s graduates have set the best examples in scholarships and external participations in the Arab and international world and added that the university will organize a ceremony in December 2023, to host a number of its creative students from outside the country. He mentioned that the students of Hadhramout University have registered more than 100 patents in a year, and have won a number of medals in Arab and international forums for this achievement. He ended his speech by thanking the Student Affairs Deputyship for their efforts in organizing this event, as well as all those who contributed to the success of the activities of the 12th university student week.
From his part, Prof. Salem Mubarak Al-Obathany; Vice President of Student Affairs pointed out that the Student Affairs Deputyship will support the students in organizing their various activities, wising them success in their educational journey.
The ceremony was filled with a variety of activities and at the end Prof. Muhammad Saeed Khanbash and Prof. Salem Mubarak Al-Obathany honored the winners of student innovation competition, the top three places in the 8th scientific conference and the winners of the student competitions. In addition to honoring the individuals and the parties who contributed to the success of the activities and presented to them certificates of appreciation.
The ceremony was attended by prof. Abdullah Saleh Babair; Vice President of Academic Affairs, Faculty deans and their deputies, heads of scientific departments, many of staff members and their assistants and the university students.
