The Education Faculty in Socotra organized a ceremony to honor the top graduates of the 21st batch in all specialties for the academic year 2023-2024 under the slogan, “With Determination, We Reach the Top.” The event was held under the generous patronage of the Socotra Governor Archipelago, Engineer Raafat Al-Thaqali, and the President of Hadhramout University, Professor Mohamed Saeed Khanbash.
The ceremony started with verses from the Holy Quran. The Governor of Socotra announced the provision of all facilities for students at the Education Faculty in Socotra, affirming his support for Hadhramout University to ensure the success of the educational process in the governorate.
Dr. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash praised the efforts of the faculty deanship and the governor of the governorate, affirming that Hadhramout University seeks to elevate the faculty of Education in Socotra on a wide range to develop the university education system in the upcoming period.
The graduating students expressed their gratitude and appreciation to everyone who helped them complete their academic process and their university studies. They commended all the efforts and services provided by the faculty deanship over the years, thanking the staff members who had a significant impact in reaching this level of success after a long struggle.
At the end of the ceremony, Eng. Raafat Al-Thaqali, Dr. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, and the Dean of the Education Faculty in Socotra honored the top graduates in all specialties and presented them with their certificates. The governor was also honored with a shield from Hadhramout University. Afterward, He honored the President of Hadhramout University with a shield as an appreciation for his efforts in developing the Education Faculty in Socotra and facilitating the education of Socotri students in the university’s faculties.
