Sponsored by the leadership of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, Hadhramout University President, the university participated in the sessions of the Higher Education Development Project for Yemeni Universities, organized through the International Relations Offices and funded by the European Commission. The project involves eight Yemeni universities: Hadhramout, Aden, Taiz, Seiyun, Shabwa, Lahj, Abyan, and Al-Adel.
The first sessions of the project commenced on Monday and Tuesday, 9-10 December 2024, at 11:00 AM Yemen time, via Zoom. The first session focused on internationalization and the opportunities for students from Yemeni universities to study at European universities across various academic disciplines. The Tuesday session discussed “Leadership and Governance – Enablers and Support Mechanisms,” which included case presentations and examples of research projects. The session concluded with discussions on incentives and support mechanisms in scientific research.
Dr. Lotfi Saeed Bin Dahman, Director of the International Cooperation and University Ranking Center, represents Hadhramout University in this project.
