Hadhramout University Holds Workshop to Define Guidelines for Developing Graduate Competency Standards

Dr. Warda Al-Mohammadi, a faculty member at Hadhramout University, emphasized during her participation in the scientific session chaired by University President Prof. Dr. Mohamed Khanbash—with a research paper presented at the workshop titled “Mechanisms for Developing Graduate Competency Standards at Hadhramout University” the need to align these standards with those approved by the University Council.

Her paper was part of the activities of the workshop organized under the theme “Developing Institutional Guides.”
Dr. Al-Mohammadi highlighted the importance of linking graduate specifications to the University’s mission and objectives to enable graduates to generate knowledge and contribute to community development, stressing the necessity of connecting these specifications to learning outcomes.

The session witnessed extensive discussion among attendees, with clarifying interventions from the University President and Dr. Al-Mohammadi.

It is noteworthy that this workshop is part of the third day of the Academic Development Week organized by the Faculty Center for Academic Development and Quality Assurance at the University, scheduled to conclude tomorrow.
