Hadhramaut University & Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS Hold A Meeting To Activate Their Partnership agreement

In the meeting, which brought together specialists from the two universities Hadhramout University (HU ) & Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS(UTP) via videoconference (Zoom ) , Prof. Abdulla Saleh Babair, HU Vice President for Academic Affairs, was pleased with the positive step towards bringing the partnership agreement into effect. He said: At the University, we look forward to the optimal translation of the terms of the Agreement, through the trends reviewed at the meeting and the concrete steps agreed upon to give effect to the provisions of the Agreement. We also have the positive role of my leadership in taking practical steps towards the implementation of the provisions of the Convention.

For his part, Prof. Mohammed Fadel Hassan, Director of Research Institute at UTP , said: The University of is pleased with this meeting and will work with HU to implement a series of axes that have been reviewed at today’s meeting.

The parties have agreed to train a number of the first bachelor’s degree students at the laboratories of Universiti Teknologi Petronas during the next summer, in accordance with the criteria and disciplines to be agreed at the next meeting between the specialists of the two universities, at the end of December. It has also been agreed to host visiting professors from both universities, to hold some joint scientific conferences, the subjects and dates of which will be agreed upon, as well as joint scientific supervision of master’s theses, access to the laboratories of Petronas Engineering University for master’s students, in agreed numbers, training of faculty in quality and academic accreditation, and others to be discussed with specialists in the Faculty of Engineering and Petroleum on the 23rd of a month.

UTP presented a presentation of the University, and HU presented a film reviewing its career and output since its inception.

Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS

Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) was founded on 10 January 1997 and is a leading private university in Malaysia.

UTP offers a range of industry-related engineering, science and technology programs at undergraduate and graduate levels. This university is aimed at graduating graduates with excellent leadership and communication abilities.
