The postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research deputyship organized the annual induction meeting for new master’s students in the faculties ( Arts – Science – Administrative Sciences) for the academic year 2017-2018 AD to introduce them to the regulations and systems of graduate studies and scientific research, and to listen to their observations and suggestions, and in the meeting that began with verses From the wise remembrance, Dr. Hadi Salem Al-Sabban – the Acting Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research reviewed the regulations and system for graduate studies, and the procedures and standards necessary for scientific research, explaining to master’s students the importance of commitment and adherence to the regulations and regulations and the time period specified for completing graduate studies , as well asThe basic and methodological ways of writing scientific and research theses, and how to collect scientific references and sources through electronic libraries, noting that the Vice Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research holds this meeting annually for new students, to familiarize them with the university regulations for the postgraduate course, and the procedures related to admission and registration requirements, in addition to an explanation for them. Methods of supervising the thesis and discussion, stressing that Hadhramaut University aspires to open new postgraduate programs in some specializations in the university’s colleges in the coming years.
After that, they discussed the observations and suggestions to be discussed and submitted to the postgraduate Studies Council and the University Council, which would develop and improve the quality of the scientific programs for postgraduate studies and scientific research at the university.
