Under the chairmanship of Prof. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, the University Rector and the presence of all members of the Council, the Council of Hadhramout University (CHU) held its fifth regular session for the academic year 2017/2018. CHU discussed several issues related to the development of educational and academic aspects. The Council approved a number of scientific promotions for the teaching staff members, and awarding Master degree to a number of students. CHU also issued a number of decisions related to the development of the academic and educational process in all the colleges , establishing new colleges such as the College of Applied Human Sciences in Al Mahrah, and opening the Department of Political Science at the College of Arts.
