Chairman of Supreme Authority for Anti-corruption Visits HU

Afrah Saleh Badwilan, Chairman of Supreme Authority for Anti-corruption (SAAC), paid a visit to Hadhramout University (HU) to meet its president, Prof. Mohammed Saeed Khenbash, to discuss cooperation of disseminating social awareness raising, encouraging students to address the concept of anti-corruption in graduation projects in specializations related to financial, administrative and political aspects. In addition to encouraging postgraduate students to address issues of corruption in thesis and scientific researches.

SAAC Chairman praised HU outstanding role in enlightening students and preparing academic programs of high quality that aim to instill the principles and teachings of Islam and to build a generation adhered to the genuine Islamic identity. She also praised the role of HU leadership and its commitment in complying with laws and regulations and rejecting all actions of financial, administrative and moral corruption.

‘We are ready to cooperate and partnership with SAAC and to sign a memorandum of understanding in the near future, pointing out that HU and SAAC are going to organize a workshop to strengthen anti-corruption concept.’ HU President said.
