Hadhramout University (HU), representative of Yemen, participated in the Arab Futsal Championship, which held at Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with the participation of 12 Arab countries such as UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, Bahrain, Oman, Algeria, Egypt, Palestine, Sudan, and Iraq.
The Secretary General of the Arab Universities Sports Federation, Dr. Omar Abdul-Aziz Al-Hayy praised the level of HU team, despite the circumstances they faced during the travel. Abdul Jalil Saleh Al-Mutari, Secretary General of Yemen Universities Sports Association said that our team showed courage and good spirit; we were satisfied with the level. He also thanked the University leadership represented by Prof. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, HU Rector, Prof. Salem Mubarak Alobthani, Rector’s Deputy for Student Affairs, and all HU team for their support.
