Prof. Mohammad Saeed Khanbash, HU President , expressed his pleased to visit colleges of the university in the Socotra Archipelago and said “Today we are in the capital of the archipelago, and in the presence of t Dr. Saad Amer,he Dean of the College, we visit this college, to show that the leadership of the University looks forward to a day that must come”. We have strategies and plans that establish plans and programs to provide the community with men who hold on to the concerns of a country and look forward to a beautiful future, he added.
The President also reviewed the actions and measures taken by the University in recent years to support the College and assign it to a number of members of the teaching and assistance body; To fill the deficit that existed many years ago, as well as to develop the corresponding programmes of Education college at HU , among them the academic programmes of Education college at Socotra , as well as to work with the college’s pillar to stabilize the College’s educational process and qualify its academic cadres. The President and his attendants also heard the demands made by the members of the Faculty members ,their assistance, representatives and the students, and the observations answered.
He was accompanied on the visit by: Prof. Abdullah Saleh Babair, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Salem Mohammed bin Salman, Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs, Prof. Mohammed Abdullah Belkheir, Assistant Secretary General for Financial Affairs, and Prof. Hussein Abdullah Basalib Director-General of the University President’s Office.
