On 20 March 2019, the 52nd session of the general conference of the Association of Arab Universities (AArU) was held in Helwan University in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. In the procedural meeting, the Council made sure of the meeting quorum, approved the session agenda, and chose both Prof. Majid Mohammed Najm, Helwan University president and Prof. Mohammed Saeed Khanbash, HU president, as chairman and vice-chairman of the 52nd session respectively.
HU president said, “Being the vice-chairman for the current session of AArU is an honor for Hadhramout University because of its active and special participation. Our University has had incredible achievements and it has enough experience and potential to play a vital role in AArU.”
