Pro. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, Hadhramout University (HU) Rector, participated in the 3rd meeting of the Executive Council of the Association of Arab Universities (AArU) in its 51st session in Jordan, under the chairmanship of Pro. Dr. Amr Salama, Secretary General of AArU, and in presence of assistant secretory generals and a number of university rectors.
They discussed a number of issues related to Arab universities, including a proposal to establish a human development unit, AArU estimated budget for 2019, next conference arrangement, hosting the society of quality units, and the societies of counterpart colleges and departments of political science in the Arab universities. In addition to, awards of the best graduation project and doctorate degree, a project to establish a council of measurement and evaluation of modern technologies, and membership application of some Arab universities to AArU.
“The meeting was remarkable as I met Arab university rectors and the General Secretariat of AArU, with whom I discussed some issues related to Hadhramout University." Prof. Khanbash said.
