HU President inaugurates the competition tests Cultural Exchange Grants to the Ministry of Higher Education and Technical Education 2020-2021 in Mukalla

Prof. Mohammad Saeed Khanbash, HU President and Prof. Salem Mubarak Al – AObthani, Vice-President of the University for Student Affairs/ Arts COLLEGE, at the Foua College Campus, launched the Competition for Cultural Exchange Grants to the Ministry of Higher Education and Technical Education 2020-2021.

During the inauguration, HU president toured the nine exam halls, informed of the progress of their performance, calling on students applying for scholarships to exert more effort to compete for the Ministry’s cultural exchange grant seats, conveying to the students the greetings of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, Technical Education and Vocational Training, Dr. Khaled Al-Wasabi Pointing out that for the first time, the comparison tests are held to grant cultural exchange in Hadhramaut to relieve students the trouble of traveling to the temporary capital of Aden, expressing his thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Higher Education, Technical Education and Vocational Training, for choosing Hadhramout University as an examination center for students of Hadhramout and neighboring governorates.

For his part, Prof. Salem Mubarak Al-Obthani,  the Vice President of the University for Student Affairs,  indicated that the supervisory committee worked to arrange and organize examination halls, provide a safe environment, and facilitate everything necessary for students to pass the test.

the Director of Public Relations and Information of the Ministry of Higher Education and Technical Education, Mr. Zayed Ben Shihab, pointed out that these tests come to learn about the abilities of general secondary students with 90% and above, emphasizing that the tests the students took were in three subjects:(English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics ) For its performance, approximately 200 students from Hadhramaut province and neighboring provinces sit, and he said that these scholarships will be contested for their seats by advanced students in six neighboring countries, wishing students to succeed in their university studies.

They were accompanied during the visit by: Prof. Mohammed Awad Barshid, Dean of the College of Arts, a number of faculty members, heads of scientific departments, the supervisory committee of Hadhramaut University, and representatives of the ministry.
