The capital of the archipelago hosts an Honoring ceremony

the capital city of Archipelago, Hadiboh, witnessed an honoring ceremony, on the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Education College/ Socotra (2000- 2020 ).

Prof. Mohammed S. Khanbash, HU President, said he was happy to attend the ceremony, as was the role of the local authority in the Archipelago, noting that the leadership of the University attached particular importance to the Geo-political position it represented and to the role played by the Archipelago in building and development.

He added, Due to Archipelago’s environmental diversity, will be the destination of tourism  in our country. Everyone must provide for this status, including the preparation of a generation of university graduates, with the task of raising the island in all directions.

For his part, Dr. Saad Amer Ahmed, Dean of the College, said that the College’s celebration today of the graduation of the 2019/2020 class and the attendance of the University’s leadership , is indicative of the interest of the University’s leadership, represented by the President of the Education college/ Socotra.

For his part, Arch. Raed Al-Jaribi, First Agent of the Province of the Socotra Archipelago, expressed  his appreciation to the local authority and the Archipelago for this gracious gesture, with its depth of vision, strategic planning and forward – looking.

The ceremony was attended by the delegation accompanying the HU president:

Prof. Abdullah Saleh Babair, Vice President for Academic Affairs,

and Prof. Salem Mohammed bin Salman, Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs

And Prof. Hussein Abdullah Baslaib, Director General of the President’s Office

Dr. Saad Amer Ahmed, Dean of the Education College  in Socotra, his deputy, faculty members, their assistants, and college staff

It was also attended by the official authorities and institutions:

Saleh Ali Saad, Deputy Governor,Brigadier General

and Hani Abdel Latif Al-Abed, Commander of the Duty Forces of the Arab Coalition (808) Socotra,

The President of the Transitional Council in the Socotra Archipelago, the representative of the Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Works, and all military and security leaders in the Socotra Archipelago Governorate

And a number of general managers of executive offices and institutions in the governorate

A large number of college students and female students, and their parents.
