Under the patronage and attendance of the Crown Prince of the Malaysian State of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin, son of the Late Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail, and other senior figures, Hadhramout University and Universiti Malaysia Perlis signed a memorandum of understanding on 16 April 2019 to establish a fruitful partnership and cooperation in various fields, especially the academic field and scientific research, exchange of students, increase production and scientific dissemination, and organize international scientific conferences in order to enhance the scientific position of the above-mentioned universities.
Prof. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, HU Rector, gave a briefing about Hadhramout University since its foundation, thanking the UniMAP leadership for the hospitality and good reception. HU is interested in developing a real partnership with universities all over the world.
Prof. Zul Azhar Zahid, UniMAP Rector’s Deputy, said that we look forward to developing a partnership with Hadhramout University, in which expertise are integrated into all disciplines.
HU leadership also met with Ms. Hasselinda, UniMAP representative of international relations, to establish cooperation in the field of Islamic sciences and Sharia, and Arabic language.
