Hadhramout University suspends studies, and the College of Open Education suspends midterm examination

The Presidency of Hadhramaut University announced the suspension of the study at the University’s faculties for a week beginning on Monday, 16 March, in accordance with the letter of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Hossein Baslama, and pursuant to the decision of the Prime Minister, Dr. Mein Abdulmalik Saeed, and the decision of the National.

Prof. Mohammad S. Khanbash, HU President , said that the suspension of the study was consistent with recent Cabinet decisions on preventive action against the corona virus, noting that the leadership of the University would remain in constant contact, calling on University affiliates to abide by health instructions and take precautions to avoid infection.

On the basis of the announcement, the College of Open Education suspended the quarterly exams that had begun last Saturday, and Dr. Mohammed Salem Bin Jamaan, Dean of the College, said that this decision was in line with the University’s decision, adding: We will maintain contact with the president to see when the examinations will resume; So we can complete the remaining procedure
